Name: Yggdra Kilsentroe
Disney fairy tale name/movie: Little Red Riding Hood
Hair: Black
Eyes: ???
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 120 pounds
Personality: A quiet, intelligent young woman. She uses her wits and charm to conquer the political playing field, and is quick to set up an alliance, rather than make an enemy. Yggdra is content to keep her small kingdom out of any intercontinental wars, though with their advanced technology it was safe to say that they could hold their own. She is adventurous, and often sneaks out of the castle to visit a local apothecary, a secret drug-ring known as “Granny’s House,” where she develops new forms of narcotics to be sold and used in her tactical escapes from the Big Bad, as well as to be given as gifts to her fellow rulers. She has no qualm with providing such narcotics for addicted rulers, and is quite willing to, given the payment is substantial enough. Yggdra is known for ruling the most entertaining kingdom, as a large portion of it is built solely for entertainment purposes; i.e. it is a large amusement park/casino area, filled with rides and games and all sorts of fun, including an adult area, which is occupied by several “Love Tents,” Wineries, Restaurants, and “Granny’s House.” She is also incredibly protective of her citizens, and keeps a large, underground prison that is patrolled by a larger, much deadlier prototype of the Big Bad.
Real deal with the Disney tales: Red Riding hood was never the victim of a terrifying woodland creature, one who ate her and her grandmother for a meal. She was a powerful scientist, an inventor, who worked day and night, from an early point in her childhood, to make the 9th Kingdom the most technologically advanced of the nine kingdoms. She discovered the power of steam, and the way it could be used to power large machines and structures created by a prehistoric, highly-civilized society. She developed “The Basket,” a Revolutionary Power System, and subsequently was made head of the government, usurping the throne from an elderly, widowed king who had, at that point in his rule, fathered no children. She would later come to invent the “Big Bad Wolf,” a semi-robotic organism who patrolled the streets of the capitol, and kept order in the kingdom. The Big Bad, however, would not allow Red out of the castle grounds without an escort, and would often times resort to using force in order to return her.
The idea of a damsel in distress, and a wolf following her for her precious basket was far more child-friendly than a story filled with political deceit and misery, thus it was twisted, and given a happy ending. The name Red Riding Hood was given to her because of the red garment worn by the royalty of the 9th kingdom.

The 9th Kingdom:
As before mentioned, a large segment of the kingdom is actually an amusement park. The park is made up of two levels, the first being on the ground, and the second being accessible only by airship. The first level is the child and family friendly area, known as Dreamland. It is here where children and their parents and friends may enjoy colorful characters and games and rides, as well as delicious confections from bakeries and wagons. The second level, a small city in the sky, is known as the “Forest.” It is home to the best restaurants and wineries in all of the 9th kingdom. The services provided there vary from food, wine, and hotels, to narcotics, whorehouses, and gambling. It is the more adult of the two levels, but is kept with the same level of cleanliness as the children’s area. Both areas are incredibly well-kept, and are equally famous for their services and fun. It is often said that one must be able to enjoy the fun and sights of the 9th Kingdom before dying.
In addition to this and her revolutionary technology, Yggdra has established a very efficient door system for the kingdom. Each person is given two keys upon entering adulthood, a key for his/her personal abode, and a key for accessing several areas of the city. The second key has a limited array of uses, as its capabilities are based upon a person’s status. Therefore, certain keys can only access areas such as the slums and the poorer districts, while Yggdra’s key can access ALL areas. These keys also determine which stores and restaurants people may enter. They act as a sort of ID system.
The 9th Kingdom is also the first kingdom to develop some form of alternate transportation other than horses. These contraptions are called “Sky Riders,” and come in a variety of shapes and sizes, from small, skateboard-like devices, to large carriage-esque contraptions, capable of seating up to six people (Driver excluded).
There is no gender division in the 9th Kingdom. Men and Women are seen as equals, and work many of the same jobs. That being said, it is perfectly possible for a woman to become more successful than a man without the idea being foreign or appalling.
Because of the size of the 9th kingdom, at least two cities other than the “Forest” are located in the sky above the kingdom. These are the Capitol, home to Aristocrats and the Castle, which is accessible to all citizens, and is accessible by a large tube-like elevator, and the famed city of “Axman,” a large district home to many contraptions. Axman is the only city where intercontinental purchases are legal, aside from the castle and the Amusement Areas. This city specializes in selling machinery, and can provide anything from transportation to specialized ironwork, to weaponry.
Big Bad Prototype (Imagine that its waste is surrounded by a large colloseum-like structure, and that it watches hundreds of cells from the center of a prison. It's much larger than the picture show.):

((I hope this is okay, I don;t think that there was techincally a MOVIE about Red Riding Hood, but the idea was too perfect not to use. If nothing, I can change it to something else, if you like.))
